This document outlines the rules and processes for applying for and managing grants, as well as integrating protocols into our system.

Key Grant Rules

Grant Amounts

• Minimum grant: $6,900.

• Maximum grant: $420,000.

Eligibility

1. Developers of eligible protocols are encouraged to submit a pull request (PR) directly to the repository or join the designated group for coordination.

2. Protocol developers must also fill up the form:

to demonstrate their commitment to the integration.

1. Protocol forks are not qualified for grants unless they demonstrate unique functionality or innovation.

2. Recently deployed protocols are eligible and encouraged to apply, provided they meet the general eligibility criteria.

Integration Timeline

• After expressing commitment, developers have 14 days to complete the integration.

• If the integration is not completed within 14 days, the task will be open for any other party to take over and complete.

Protocol Eligibility

• A fast-track process is available for integrations with specific chains or protocols (list provided separately).

• Other protocols may still qualify for grants but will require additional steps or approvals. More information on this process will be released soon.

Data Stream & API Integration

API Costs

• When the integration requires paid access to data streams or API keys, the developer must:

  1. Contact us in the integration Telegram group to coordinate payment or reimbursement.

  2. Work with us to secure the best possible rate for access.

API Key Provision

• If the protocol provides its own API key, this must be shared with the integration team to streamline the process.

• In cases where no API key is provided, the team will coordinate payment for access.

Custom Arrangements

• For complex API setups, developers should collaborate closely with the team to determine the most efficient way to proceed.

Submission & Coordination Process

1. Developers must submit a PR as the primary method for initiating integration.

2. Alongside the PR, they must join the designated group for coordination and provide a clear line of communication (preferably email or chat).

3. All questions regarding grant eligibility, integration deadlines, and API cost arrangements should be directed to the integration Telegram group or the designated team contact.
